Our family-run business company has a long tradition in the industry. It was founded in August 2020 by Lee Darrington who has been a mechanic for over 10 years.

Lee built his team of qualified and trainee technicians around his passion, values, his experience as a mechanic and created M&L Automotive. 

Nathan Denton became a business partner in 2022 after beginning his career working for Lee. Nathan has always had a passion or fixing vehicles and began learning at the age of 13 when he was given his first car.

Gary Wardle has more than 40 years experience as a mechanic and in that time has repaired, sprayed and maintained thousands of vehicles. Gary became a business partner when the garage opened in 2020.

Alan Wardle has been a mechanic since the mines closed in 1993. Alan began his mechanical career working at his father in laws garage. 

Calvin Wardle began helping around the garage at the age of 14, making drinks and cleaning, in return Lee began teaching him the basics. Calvin is now in college doing an apprenticeship in the hopes of following in his families footsteps.
